I forgot to give a BIG thank you to Christina and Will from Bellingham who graciously brought me down a mosquito net from IKEA! The best part of that gift was walking around all night in southside Vallarta with a big IKEA bag, telling everyone that there was a new store in town! LOL
I also wish to acknowledge my new friend, Char, from Chicago, who brought me a new tiara and a HUGE dark turquoise boa! The Goddesses are going to be SO jealous when they see the boa! Speaking of GCV, the dates are set as March 31 to April 14, 2006. We are currently in the process of booking suitable accommodations.
Well, in one month I will be back in Canada. I am really looking forward to my vacation time. I plan to see my family and friends, do some heavy duty shopping and a bit of travelling around Ontario. My base camp will be in Toronto but I will be going to Kitchener-Waterloo, Ottawa and up north of Barrie, Ontario. I look forward to seeing many of you while I am there!
I suppose you want to know what is going on in Vallarta. The weather is still gorgeous. No humidity as of yet so the nights are blessedly cool for sleeping. The daytime temps must be up over 30C but without the humidity and with the breeze, it is quite pleasant. I am looking forward to experiencing the same type of weather in Toronto when I get there near the end of June.
I am still off on Sundays and Mondays and trying to get in at least one day a week at the beach. I think my Mom is expecting me to come home with some kind of tan or something. So I am going to keep this short and post it right away. I am really starting to miss blogging on a regular basis and can hardly wait to come back here with a computer! In the interim, keep those emails coming!
